The Neon Edge

The Neon Edge:

Wandering amidst an abandoned factory, Lucas a sword-for-hire, is on a job to retrieve a package for a client. But gets attacked by a cyborg and barely escapes...

In troubled times, merc are hot commodity. The Neon Edge is in peace times, the neon era. Once a A grade bounty hunter, Lucas now finds himself scraping to make ends meet. Picking up whatever odd job comes by. But with his terrible luck, things always turn our shittier than expected. Can Lucas catch a break?

Pony Life

Snagged a chance to work on "Pony Life" (directed by Adrian Ignat, Story Supervisor Jean Texier), a spin-off from the "My Little Ponies" series a while back. Even though it was just on a couple of episode as the series was wrapping up when I came onboard. Being a pony simp, it was dream project to storyboard on!

Thankyou Jean for being a clear and awesome story supervisor to work with!

"Benched"
Brazen and confident Rainbow Dash sprains her ankle and gets benched just before the highly anticipated sports event and gets timid Fluttershy to take her place. The ponies use a magic colour-changing potion to transform Fluttershy to look exactly like Rainbow Dash. But competing in front of a crowd is no easy feat and Fluttershy is about to freaking out, will their sham be exposed?

"Director Spike's Mockumentary"
Spike is wants to make a documentary of a day in the life of his wonderful pony friends, but everyone is just too camera shy to be themselves! Will Spike be able to coax the gang to chill out?

"Sharkdog" - Nickelodeon Animated Series

Sharkdog has finally launched on Netflix! That's 20 episodes of Season 1 along with a 22 min Halloween special "Sharkdog's Fin-tastic Halloween" It has been a crazy, fun-filled whirlwind of a year spearheading Sharkdog's production as a Creator and Co-director. Luckily I'd still managed to squeeze in to storyboard a couple of episodes here and there.

This excerpt below is a scene taken from the Halloween Special, where the Sharkpack gets cornered by the legendary Kraken Monster that's been stealing candy and ruining Halloween in the town of Foggy Springs. Max and gang survive by a whiff (literally) and unexpectedly manage to scare the Kraken away while uncovering more clues to prove their suspicion that this Kraken isn't really what, or WHO it seems to be.

A few years ago, I submitted a pitch bible to Nickelodeon Global Animated Shorts Program and "Sharkdog" was selected out of 850 pitches worldwide. Since then we have went on to produce a series of 20 episodes, 90 sec comedy shorts, exploring the adventures of a boy named Max and his special pet-sidekick Sharkdog.

Now screening on the Nickelodeon Play App!

"Sharkdog has a lot of silly humour and a lot of heart. What better time to launch this than just before National Day as we celebrate a Singapore-first for Nickelodeon."

Ms Syahrizan Mansor, vice-president of Nickelodeon's brand in Asia

"Hardboiled: Art of the Steal"

At long last, the Pilot episode of HARDBOILED: The Art Of The Steal is officially up on Youtube!

I personally really loved this project. It's about 2 young-wannabe detectives, Benny, a head strong girl who's very determined, organised and goal oriented and Hammond, a massive slab of ham who's more... in touch with is feelings. Together they aspire to be the greatest detectives of all times. But all great things start off small and that's where Benny and Hammond find themselves setting up their little detective studios in the town of Sunnyside. They struggle to make ends meet, taking up small cases to build their reputation till one day they chance upon the Case of a life time: A massive Art heist, orchestrated by a well-connected Villain hiding in the shadows stumps even the police. Unfazed, Benny and Hammond hop right on the case, banking everything they've got to solve it - it's all or nothing this time!

Below are excerpts from the Thumbnails stage is where I plan and decide what are the key shots, where the Dialogue goes, Camera Floorplan and Framing I want.  At this stage, most of the acting is not fleshed out yet and drawings are much looser.
